Kinect vs Move
First of Microsoft’s Kinect for Xbox 360 has sold 10 million copies and broke a guiness book of world records for the fastest sold consumer electronic EVER! For those of you living in a bubble Kinect and Move both rely on body gestures and voice commands to control the adventure and dance games. As the Kinect ad campaign aptly puts it “you are the controller”.
The Kinect is totally hands-free, accommodates multiple players and Voice control is amazing. However, it will require a ton of HD space and you will experience more lag than the Playstation Move. If you have the room for it, Kinect offers both multiplayer motion gaming and voice-controlled menu navigation right out of the box.
The Move by Play Station has no where near the sales Microsoft had but is still an awesome little device by it’s own right. It’s motion gaming system has a bit more of learning curve than the Kinect, based on the calibration that is needed for some games. But it is less expensive than the Kinect and Move tracks motion better than the Wii, and supports a broader range of games.
